About Kevin

Hi, and welcome to the FearCast, hosted by Kevin Foss, MFT. The FearCast is the podcast dedicated to OCD, anxiety, treatment, and getting your life back.

First and foremost, I am honored that you would include me and the FearCast into your recovery journey.

Anxiety and depression isn’t new to me, but has been part of the road to where I am today. Anxiety has been part of the road, but is not the end of the road.

I am a licensed Therapist (MFT) in the states of California and Montana. I am the founder of the California OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center in Fullerton, CA. With CalOCD, I do a great deal of teletherapy, or online video-chat treatment, Intensive Out-Patient (IOP) treatment, and of course traditional face-to-face therapy. Teletherapy has become a primary tool in my practice and has helped me reach people who would not otherwise be able to find effective treatment. My OCD treatment journey began in 2008 when I began working with the Westwood Institute for Anxiety Disorders, a dedicated 3-week intensive out-patient program. Additionally, starting in 2012, I worked with the OCD Center of Los Angeles, a private practice specializing in OCD, anxiety, and BFRB treatment.

If I am not at work, I’m usually at home with my lovely wife, new daughter, and my weird/ wonderful dog. Likely, my weekend is going to involve going to Disneyland, hiking, playing the bass, squeezing in time to record more episodes, or haphazardly trying to fix something around the house. Nothing’s unintentionally burned down yet.
